These scissors have a raised Topaz ball bearing screw for adjustable tension. Our groomer recommends: Use chunkers on dogs with a thick, voluminous coat. They should always be used to cut the ends of the hair to add angulation and to finish by adding texture, dont place deep in the coat as they will clog. They are delicate scissors so, dont use too much pressure when scissoring as can they will lock.
